Bad Bubble - 'Oh My God'

Since his incarnation, Chicago-based artist and producer Bad Bubble has established himself as one of the more prolific names on the underground music scene. Turning out this broad and diverse flurry of well-regarded releases as often as possible, his creative process has been both vast and eclectic in equal measure. And after kicking off the year with his vibrant comeback album 'A Well Devised Plan', he is now back to his best with the new EP 'Oh My God', a collection that highlights some of his more heartfelt endeavours.

Right from the very start, 'Oh My God' looks to embark on this sprawling and atmospheric pursuit. Creating these rich and shimmering aesthetics that see him explore a variety of dream-pop, psych-rock, and alt-pop textures, this four-track collection finds him in a beautifully refined guise throughout. Whether it is the passionate emotion of 'War' or the wistful tones of 'Hogs', Bad Bubble always manages to find something new and interesting to bring to his work.

It may have come after an incredibly busy and productive time for him, but 'Oh My God' shows he is still unearthing plenty of refreshing ideas as often as possible. Brimming with this vibrant flow throughout, he is certainly kicking off his 2025 in style with this one.
