Brianna McGeehan - 'Mother Maiden'

Atlanta-based singer-songwriter Brianna McGeehan, known for her evocative storytelling and heritage-inspired artistry, has now released her latest single 'Mother Maiden'. The introspective track blends indie-pop and electro-folk, drawing on McGeehan’s Irish roots to create a healing anthem for young women facing life’s hardships.

Building on the success of her debut solo single 'Home', 'Mother Maiden' takes a deeply personal turn. The song is both a tribute to her heritage and a reflection of her growth as an artist, delivering a message of resilience and empowerment. McGeehan describes it as “a letter to my younger self and all young women facing the darkest parts of life.”

Produced by Colin Agnew at Sunwapta Studio in Georgia, with co-production from McGeehan and her husband, Drew de Man, 'Mother Maiden' combines synths, piano, organic drums, and atmospheric guitars to create a haunting yet uplifting sound. The song’s dual influences—Celtic traditions and electronic music from McGeehan’s early days in Brooklyn—merge seamlessly, resulting in a track that feels both timeless and innovative.
