GET TO KNOW: Long Term Parking

Following on from the release of their highly-praised debut album 'Luxury Luxury' earlier this year, emerging outfit Long Term Parking are now looking to showcase their newest collection with the vibrant offering 'King E.'.

Channelling a broad and eclectic mix of hip-hop, rock, and alt-pop aesthetic throughout, 'King E.' makes for a brilliantly dynamic listen. With its strong and driven textures, a soaring atmosphere, and killer vocals layered from start to finish, they are establishing themselves as one of the more distinctive names on the rise right now.

So with the new single available now, we sat down with them to find out more about their origins and influences over the years.

What was the first band or artist you fell in love with?

Manowar, Megadeth, Helloween.

Did you ever form a band when you were younger and if so, what did they sound like?

Yes, I had my first band since I was five years old and it sounds funny, of course. I have a lot documented and recorded.

What has been your primary inspiration in writing music?

Life and life.

What is a song you wish you had written yourself?

Aguas de Marco by Antonio Jobim

If there was any moment in your career you could relive, what would it be?

Nothing, it is necessary to look ahead.

Which artist would you most love to share a stage with?

We want to have a stage just on our own ;) but ok.. share it with Peter Gabriel would be really inspiring.

And is there an artist you would love to collaborate with as well?

Prince

Where do you see yourself in five years time?

If all goes well, then here - on planet Earth.
