Following on from their highly-praised 'Summer Time' EP earlier this year, fast-rising outfit Of Vizions are back on the grind once again to deliver their anthemic new single 'Enchanted'.
Adopting more of that bold and electrifying alt-rock energy they are known for, 'Enchanted' makes for a dazzling return to form for them. With its soaring texture and powerful hooks layered throughout, they are returning to the fold with one of their most impactful efforts to date here.
So with the new single available to stream now, we sat down with them to discuss their origins and influences over the years.
What was the first band or artist you fell in love with?
Nirvana, Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones & The Cure
Did you ever form a band when you were younger and if so, what did they sound like?
Yes, we sounded like 90's Alternative Punk. In the same vein as Oasis, The Blur, Green Day & The Offspring.
What has been your primary inspiration in writing music?
My life experiences, relationships, sometimes even impactful moments from my youth / high-school years.
What is a song you wish you had written yourself?
Stairway To Heaven - Led Zeppelin
If there was any moment in your career you could relive, what would it be?
Being heavily inspired by seeing all of my favorite bands at the time at Vans Warped Tour in the 2000's. It was then when I really found my love and passion for writing and performing high energy, anthem-like, fun, real and raw music in the pop punk vein.
Which artist would you most love to share a stage with?
Green Day, The Clash, The Doors, Aerosmith, The Cure, Led Zeppelin, Blink 182
And is there an artist you would love to collaborate with as well?
Billie Joe Armststrong, Dave Grohl, Travis Barker, Avril Lavigne, Noel Gallagher, The Offspring, Pete Wentz, Robert Smith, Mick Jagger, Jack White, Robert Plant.
Where do you see yourself in five years time?
Touring the world and connecting with fans and making new friends. Also collaborating with other artists, writing and releasing a lot of music.
