What was the first band or artist you fell in love with?
Ry X and Rihanna. Their unique approaches to art and music have been incredibly inspiring for me. Witnessing their passion and creativity ignited a fire within me to embark on my own musical path. Uhh and the weekend.
Did you ever form a band when you were younger and if so, what did they sound like?
I didn't really have a band. I was always writing and singing by myself and playing guitar all the time. But I had a little dance group in school, where we would perform or dance to hits for our classmates. That was fun, it looked fun probably too haha.
What has been your primary inspiration in writing music?
The driving force behind my music is the incredible power it holds to connect with people's emotions. Music has the ability to uplift spirits, offer solace, and navigate complex feelings. This profound impact led me to create my own music, aiming to share positivity and help others through their journeys.
What is a song you wish you had written yourself?
Currently, "La Fama" by Rosalía and The Weeknd resonates deeply with me. The song's concept and its brilliantly simple yet effective production captivate me.
If there was any moment in your career you could relive, what would it be?
Creating my video for reaching for the sun. Those days were very creative days and I had so much fun shooting the video in beautiful locations. Seeing my music come alive through visuals feels amazing.
Which artist would you most love to share a stage with?
Sam Smith. I just went to his new show for the first time and it was so special, nice, good and sexy. He is the sweetest, so definitely him. Sam I’ll call you soon haha.
And is there an artist you would love to collaborate with as well?
There are many artists I would love to collaborate with. On the top there is The Weeknd, Rosalia, Sam Smith and Rihanna. Additionally, I'm passionate about collaborating with local indie talents, as there's an abundance of creativity waiting to be explored.
Where do you see yourself in five years time?
Looking ahead five years, I envision myself on a global tour, showcasing the sounds of a new album. I'll continue to compose music that resonates deeply and craft visually stunning experiences that elevate my listeners' spirits. My aim is to spread positivity and joy through my music, leaving an enduring impact on everyone who encounters my art.
