What was the first band or artist you fell in love with?
The first artist I fell in love with was Tupac Amaru Shakur.
Did you ever form a band when you were younger and if so, what did they sound like? Myself and three of my friends formed a group in secondary school. Then we had not started writing our own songs, so we would sing just about anything we could lay our hands on. Hence, we were more of a band that played all types of music. Thinking about it now, I think that’s why I’m an eclectic musician today.
What has been your primary inspiration in writing music? My inspiration to write music comes from my environment. The things I experience and what those around me have gone through have always been a significant resource in my writing.
What is a song you wish you had written yourself? One song I wish I had written for myself is “We Are The World” by Michael Jackson And Lionel Richie.
If there was any moment in your career you could relive, what would it be?
One moment in time I would love to relive is when my song first made it to MTV in 2022.
Which artist would you most love to share a stage with? I would most definitely love to share a stage with Beyoncé.
And is there an artist you would love to collaborate with as well? Adele.
Where do you see yourself in five years time?
In five years I should have my songs on most major movie soundtracks and also closing stadiums in every continent of the world.
