After spending much of the last few years building and refining his sound, Minneapolis-based artist John Deering is now introducing himself to the wider world with his vibrant new single 'Strip Mall Jesus'.
Recorded in a DIY studio he set up in his basement, 'Strip Mall Jesus' makes for an incredibly fun and lively introduction to his sound so far. With its bold and driven indie-rock textures, breezy atmosphere, and his own impactful vocals at the helm, he is certainly looking to turn plenty of heads with this one.
While it may be early days for his newfound career right now, 'Strip Mall Jesus' shows he already has a strong and commanding grasp over his direction. With such power and confidence in his songwriting throughout, we can't wait to hear what he comes back with next.
