Over these last few years, Nashville-based artist Luke Borchelt has been busy crafting a bright and distinctive direction in which to call his own. Combining his love for country and folk aesthetics with a glossy commercial edge, his material to date has been this broad and emotive affair as often as possible. And after plenty of praise and acclaim these last few months, he now looks to cement his dynamic legacy to date with his eagerly-awaited debut album 'Every Rain'.
Continuing to explore more of that warm and inviting appeal he has always looked to conjure, 'Every Rain' makes for a wonderfully rich and alluring listen throughout. With his distinctive vocal style layered across this euphoric production at every turn, this nine-track collection finds him in one of his more progressive guises yet. Whether he is serenading us with tender textures or offering a more uplifting energy, Luke Borchelt always manages to find something new and interesting in which to add into his vibrant ascent.
It has certainly been an impactful time for him these last few years, but 'Every Rain' shows there is still plenty of innovation coursing through him right now. Oozing with an endearing quality from start to finish, he is certainly looking to make his initial full-length as memorable as possible.
