Lifted from his forthcoming sophomore LP 'Between Lightning and Thunder', which is set to drop early next year, 'Better Than Here' makes for a wonderfully warm and tender return for the artist at the helm. With his rich and shimmering voice layered across a compelling folk-inspired production from start to finish, he is returning to the fold with one of his most emotive offerings to date.
While it has been quite some time since we last heard any new material from him, 'Better Than Here' shows that he is still brimming with plenty of fresh and captivating ideas in which to explore. With such a strong and confident grasp over his direction throughout, we can't wait to hear what this new full-length has in store for us as well.
