After originally making his mark as the frontman of a Queen tribute band for the last decade, Blackpool's Rob Lea introduced himself to the new music world with his breakthrough debut EP 'Stop What You're Doing' last year. Since then, he has been quickly establishing himself as one of the more euphoric names on the rise, turning out one highly-praised offering after another. And with the buzz around him continuing to grow, he is now looking to cement his legacy to date with his eagerly-awaited self-titled debut album, a record that hones more of that infectious energy he has been conjuring lately.
Featuring the previously shared gems 'Happy Accident', 'Big Bad Bear' and 'Not The One', this new eleven-track collection makes for a dazzling progression of his direction so far. Brimming with this fun and lively energy from start to finish, Rob Lea finds himself in a truly rapturous guise across this new full-length. Packing it with killer hooks and an enjoyable progression as often as possible, he is certainly looking to get our feet moving to this one.
He may still be within the infancy of his solo endeavours right now, but this new LP certainly makes for a memorable and impactful effort from him. Conjuring some brilliantly catchy moments from beginning to end, Rob Lea remains a firm and enjoyable addition to today's new music scene here.
