Capturing more of that broad and immersive Britpop-infused psych-rock aesthetic he has become known for recently, 'Stupid Old Git' makes for a wonderfully progressive listen. With his rich and dreamy voice layered across a compelling production from start to finish, he is returning to the fold with one of his most endearing outings to date.
While he has certainly cemented himself on the new music scene these last few years, 'Stupid Old Git' shows that he still has plenty of fresh and inviting ideas in which to pursue. With such a warm and engaging approach to his direction throughout, we can't wait to hear where he plans to take his sound next.
