After spending much of the last few months building and cultivating their sound, Canadian newcomers The Southern Residents are now ready to introduce themselves to the wider world with their vibrant debut single 'Devyn Gale'.
Set to feature on their upcoming debut album 'Folk Signals', which is due to land on the 28th February, 'Devyn Gale' makes for a wonderfully warm and inviting introduction to their sound so far. With its rustic country-folk aesthetics set to some vibrant hooks throughout, they are kicking things off with a wildly enjoyable opening number here.
While it may be their only piece of new material to date, 'Devyn Gale' shows they already have a firm and confident grasp over their direction. With such a wondrous approach to their songwriting and production at every turn, we can't wait to hear what this new LP has in store for us as well.
