Over the last few years, US artist and producer Josh Kreuzman has seen his Twice Dark project go from strength to strength. Adopting a heady mix of goth-rock, synth-pop, and electronic infleunces to create his dynamic direction, he has been quick to establish himself as one of the more innovative names doing the rounds right now. And after a flurry of impactful offerings under his belt in recent months, he now looks to cement this era within his sound with his hotly-tipped studio album 'Telekinetic', a record brimming with an adventurous spirit throughout.
Much like his more recent output, 'Telekinetic' looks to skirt the line between traditional electronic elements and a more forward-thinking approach to production. This subtle blend of nostalgic inspirations and contemporary ideals gives the release a wonderfully fresh yet familiar feel as it plays. Dancing about a playful synth-led production with his distinctive vocals across all seven tracks, Twice Dark reemerges to us with some of his most compelling work to date here.
While these last few years have certainly been a busy and impactful time for him, 'Telekinetic' proves he is still very much on top of his creative game right now. Oozing with such flair and finesse towards his sound, he remains a vital figure in today's synth-pop arena with every cut.
